Heyyyy Dreamers,

Today I’m reminding all of us especially ME lol the importance of patience.

Google defines patience as:

pa·tience

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.
synonyms: forbearance, tolerance, restraint, self-restraint, stoicism; calmness, composure, equanimity, imperturbability, phlegm, understanding, indulgence

In today’s “microwave society” we want things when we want it and we want everything NOW! Not understanding that we have to go through a PROCESS to get to our destination in this journey called life. Along the journey we go through test and trials that ultimately are making us stronger and a place of reference for us to help others in similar situations. However, most times we dont take the time to look at things from that perspective we only see things our way and how we expect and want them to go. God laughs at that and will make us be patient. So as I’m personally sitting here super impatient I hear God whisper in my ear “patience child” and I take a deep breath and inhale frustration, being anxious, uncertainty and exhale a deep sigh of trust, calmness and PATIENCE!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23

So as you go about your day today and things get rough, and don’t go the way you want them to go take a deep breath, count to 10 if you have to, and exhale patience. Trust that everything that is meant to happen will happen WHEN IT IS SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN, not a minute too early or a minute too late. In the meantime, enjoy the process, learn what it is God is trying to teach you during this moment of stillness, take in everything you can that is helping shape, mold and perfect you for your bright future ahead!
